Identify and prioritize opportunities for research within a small team of Designers, Product Managers and Engineers.
Lead all aspects of the research cycle, from scoping and recruiting to method selection, analysis and presentation.
Understand the specific issues/needs facing the user no matter where they are in their journey (new, proficient, etc.) and work to improve it.
Advocate for the customer by gracefully stating uncomfortable truths when necessary.
Quickly deliver findings and insights that account for the company’s mission, initiatives, and desired business goals without losing sight of customer needs.
Give guidance to teams outside of project work to help them make sound decisions based on market, customer, and product knowledge.
Recommend and enact improvements to the team’s process, tools and communications.
