Position Summary:
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Relationship Manager to join our motivated team in New York.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be a key player in the growth and expansion plans of the company by building strong and lasting business relationships with our key partners
  •  
  • Proactively structure and foster communication and collaboration across organizational boundaries
  • Lead the successful research, prioritization and acquisition of new partners
  • Make a great first impression to our potential partners
  • Design and implement tools and processes to monitor partner performance efficiently
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing partners to fuel our growth
  • Function as a reliable contact person for partners from the first contact through to conclusion of agreement and their integration onto the platform
  •  
  • Work with various teams within the company including engineering, design and sales
  •  
  • Build relationships and develop key strategic initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years of account management experience; preferably with a focus on scalable digital solutions, preferably B2C software
  • Understanding of platforms, APIs, 3rd party integrations, mobile technologies, micro-services architecture is a big plus
  • Some knowledge around procurement and fulfilment is a plus
  • Experience in conceptualizing and finalizing long term strategic partnership agreements in regulated industries
  • Strong interpersonal skills and capability of building relationships to gain buy-in and achieve business results
  • Experience developing account management processes and goal setting
  • Closing ability: experience of closing relevant business is required
  • Diverse skills in client/account management, partnerships, deal structuring, consulting, project management, and brand strategy are a plus
  • Able to think outside the box - to truly imagine and articulate the true market potential for this company;
  • A network in the pet industry is a big plus
  • An ability to present the business in a compelling fashion to a wide range of stakeholders – including senior executives. Good public speaking skills a definite advantage;
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English are a must
