Recruiting Manager - Pet Insurance Startup

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking an exceptional Recruiting Manager who is passionate about animals and believes pets are an important member of a family. The Recruiting Manager will set up and execute the recruiting strategy in close collaboration with the leadership team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Set up the recruiting strategy in close collaboration with the leadership team
  • Develop and update job descriptions and define job titles
  • Build-up of sourcing channels (job ads, active sourcing, referrals, events, etc.) geared towards winning business and tech talent
  • Set up 360° recruiting process taking care of outstanding candidate experience and closely engaging all relevant stakeholders such as Hiring Managers
  • Provide analytical and KPI driven recruiting reports to the leadership team
  • Co-create employer branding, definition of EVP, company culture and recruiting marketing
  • Set and own social media communication strategy for talent engagement
  • Select, steer and manage relevant third parties such as technology partners, agencies, etc.
  • Strongly participate in build- and scale-up of HR department in close collaboration with leadership

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Working experience in Recruiting, Talent Acquisition and/or Active Sourcing
  • Experience in tech, sales and marketing recruiting, high-volume recruiting
  • Good understanding of end-to-end recruiting processes (research, interviewing, hiring, onboarding) and willingness to establish good quality process
  • Work experience in growing and innovative business environments such as startups, scaleups or digital hubs
  • Understanding of recruiting best practices
  • Interest in topics such as recruiting marketing, company culture and employer branding
  • Strong communication skills, ability to stay organized in fast-paced environments
  • Getting things done attitude, highly proactive mindset, strong stakeholder-management & coordination skills
  • Willingness to relocate to New York
  • Fluency in English
