ABOUT THE ROLE
VTS is looking for an HR Generalist to support our growing employee population. As an HR Generalist, you will partner with the business to provide a best in class employee experience. You must be a hands-on, roll up your sleeves type employee and should enjoy a fast-paced, start-up environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Responsible for proactively implementing a variety of HR initiatives designed to ensure a positive and productive work environment
  • Design systems, processes and policies that scale effectively with our growing business
  • Streamline the onboarding process to ensure consistency of new hire experience
  • Conduct employee surveys and drive culture initiatives to enhance and maximize employee experience and analyze for areas of improvement
  • Analyze employee data to drive insights using existing dashboards and HRIS
  • Handle inbound employee inquiries, identify needs, process necessary transactions and escalate issues
  • Provide support to employees and managers to better understand and utilize HR tools, processes and policies
  • Act as an employee advocate
  • Assist with building and growing our learning and development program
  • Maintain knowledge of Federal, State, and Local legal requirements and government reporting regulations, ensuring policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance
  • Develop policy and procedure guidelines as needed
  • Manage annual and semi-annual review process

ABOUT YOU

  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • BA/BS Degree
  • High level of excellence and ability to take ownership and accountability for work
  • Flexible and able to re-prioritize quickly
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain strong attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Mature, reliable, able to make independent decisions, and to juggle multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong excel, power point, verbal and written communication skills required
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, but also enjoy working as part of a team
  • High level of integrity, discretion and judgement
