The Reporting and Data Analyst serves as the primary reporting specialist responsible for creating tools and reports that are used to deliver insights to clients and internal teams at scale. Qualified candidates are able to prepare and analyze large data sets, design visuals that tell a compelling story and automate processes. For analysts to succeed in this position they must be resourceful, autonomous and great at multitasking.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, create and maintain automated, templated visualizations for internal and client-facing reporting deliverables
  • Analyze and visualize large data sets to extract insights for both internal use and client facing collateral
  • Effectively communicate and summarize findings with broader internal audiences
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop efficient processes for reporting and data analysis
  • Use Natural Language Processing techniques to build tools around text-based analysis of analysis of data sets and deliver insights for researchers
  • Use other Machine Learning techniques to design classification and predictive models to unearth insights and trends in Organic Search data
  • Time management and completion of collaborative and individual sprint workload

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, or related field
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Must be proficient in Python, Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker) and Microsoft Excel
  • Must be proficient with SQL and relational databases
  • Intermediate skills with Data Science techniques (NLP, ML, etc.)
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, organization and time management skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently or on a team
  • Able to manage one’s schedule and prioritize tasks
  • Flexibility to wear many hats and adapt to a fast-changing environment
